Thermal Taps and Valves

Sustainability and the environment are becoming increasingly important to customers creating a growing market for environmentally friendly systems.

Tighter regulation on boilers and concern over the environmental damage of air conditioning systems has led to an expected UK ban on gas fired boilers by 2023.

Traditional central heating boilers and modern HVAC systems consume large amounts of energy, close to nine in ten British homes use gas for heating and hot water. Governments desire to eliminate gas boilers and net zero carbon targets require new approaches for producing and storing hot and cold water.

Botanic Energy’s Thermal Sensor Taps and Valves produce hot and cold water at destination rather than supply, eliminating the need for hot water cylinders and dual hot and cold water distribution.

Providing hot water directly at taps and showers means you only produce what you need, avoiding unused hot water cooling in pipes and cylinders. Furthermore, the same taps provide fresh cold water as required.

Considerable material and installation time can be saved reducing the cost of construction, with an overall reduction in operating costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Coupled with Botanic Energy’s Active Thermal Cladding removes the need for boilers, hot water provided by our thermal tap system and space heating by our thermal cladding
